Custom furniture in solid wood — built one piece at a time, made to be kept

I build furniture the slow way: solid wood and hand-cut joinery, with finishes I mix myself. Most of what leaves the shop is tables and chairs, casework and the odd tall clock, made for the room it will live in. If a joint ever fails, I fix it. That's the whole warranty.

Walnut · cherry · white oak · maple — much of it from local urban trees

Commissions

Most of my work is commissioned: a piece designed with you, for your room and your wood. Half down holds your place in the schedule. Most pieces deliver two to four months after the deposit.
