Custom builds

The tool your business wishes existed. Live in one to four weeks.

Our prebuilt tools cover the workflows most small businesses share. This page is for the one they don't — the spreadsheet you keep re-typing, the quote you rebuild from scratch every time, the portal your customers keep asking for. Custom software used to cost too much to fix that. It doesn't anymore.

Scope and price fixed in writing before anything gets built.

Prebuilt or custom? One question tells you.

Most people who land on this page need a $149 prebuilt tool, not a build. It's worth two minutes to know which you are, because the gap between them is $350 and about three weeks.

Is it a message that needs to go out at the right moment? Someone rings while you're under a sink. A quote goes quiet for a week. A customer is due back and won't think of it themselves. An invoice sits unpaid and you hate chasing it.

That's a prebuilt tool — $149, and sixteen of them already exist. Configured to your business, live on your number, nothing built from scratch.

Or is it a screen someone opens and does work in? Job details typed once, a priced quote out the other end. Customers logging in to see where their job stands. The spreadsheet you rebuild every Monday, turned into something with rules that remembers what you did last time.

That's a custom build — from $499. No prebuilt tool can be bent into it, because the shape is yours.
Describe yours ›

If the honest answer is "both" — start with the prebuilt one. It's $149, it's running this week, and it pays for itself on the first job it saves. The build will still be there in a month, and you'll describe it far better once you've watched the simple version work.

And if an app you can already buy does the job, we'll name it. Not after you've paid for an audit — in the reply to your first email, if it's obvious from what you've described. We would rather lose the build than sell you one you didn't need.

01

Tell us the workflow

Describe the thing that eats your week, in plain words. Two sentences is plenty.

02

Get the plan

The audit maps your workflow and quotes the exact build, fixed, in writing.

03

The build sprint

You check in twice, and it ships on the date written in your quote.

04

It stays running

Hosting, monitoring and small tweaks — $39 a month, optional, cancel whenever.

Builds start at $499

There's no menu of sizes here, because your workflow isn't a size. A small tool that does one job well starts at $499, and bigger ones are quoted from what they actually need — always fixed, always in writing, always before anything gets built.

The $200 Scoping Audit is how you find out which yours is: your workflow mapped, a written feature list, and a fixed quote guaranteed for 30 days. The $200 comes off your build in full. If an app off the shelf already solves it, the audit says so by name — and you keep the plan either way.

Builds bill half to start and half at delivery, ship deployed and documented, and are yours. Keeping it running afterwards is Hosted Care, $39 a month — hosting, monitoring and small tweaks — and it's optional, because the build is yours to host anywhere. Cancel whenever and we hand over deployment access within seven days.

If a build is bigger than one sprint, the audit splits it into phases with a fixed number on each, so you can stop after any of them. Ideas that arrive mid-build never stall delivery — they go on the Phase 2 list and get priced as their own small sprint once this one ships.

The shapes we build most

Every business calls it something different; the tools rhyme. This very site — and the live demo behind it — came out of the same build system.
